Responsible for the collection, decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment. Supports surgical services and hospital units by ensuring the availability of sterile instruments and supplies while adhering to regulatory standards. Works under the guidance of a certified technician or supervisor while completing certification requirements. Essential Functions. Collect and decontaminate used instruments and equipment.
