Receiving. Ensure safe handling of items through decontamination process according to policy and procedure. Ensure vendor compliance for delivery and packaging of equipment/instrumentation Processing all equipment/instrumentation from all campuses, and offsite ancillary departments Handling. Ensure compliance with all regulatory protocols for decontamination of instrumentation. Ensure all safety measures taken with regard to policy and procedure. Disassemble items for cleaning and sterilizing; reassembling cleaned and sterilized items. Complete tray assembly inclusive of inventory, inspection, assembly and containment. Complete sterilization process according to policy and procedure Distribution. Transport completed instrumentation to defined storage locations within the operating room.
