Sterile Processing Supervisor (CRCST), Overnight, Full-Time - MedStar Health : Job Details

FlexStaff is looking for a Sterile Processing Supervisor at our facility in Bethpage, NY. This is a permanent, full-time position with a schedule of 10 PM to 6 AM, 5 days per week, 37.5 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays.

In this role, you'll supervise and coordinate a team of 15 in the hospital's sterilization process.

Ideal candidates should possess:* An associate degree* Current Registered Central Supply Technician Certification (CRCST)* Relevant experience, including supervisory experience

Key Responsibilities:* Lead and train team members to achieve sterile processing goals.* Schedule and assign tasks to team members and supervise operations in decontamination and sterile work areas.* Inspect case cart requisitions for accuracy and coordinate the transport of carts to necessary facilities.* Maintain inventory and stock levels.* Ensure proper documentation of sterilization activities.* Monitor the application of proper techniques during instrumentation processing, preparation, and packaging.
