Sterile Processing - Willis-Knighton Health System : Job Details

Will include cleaning, decontaminating, packaging and sterilizing surgical instruments and supplies. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining equipment through daily maintenance logs and performance validation procedures. The candidate will be responsible for general housekeeping in the surgical area and assisting with all other necessary tasks. Teamwork is essential in this department and our top priority is patient care and safety. Ability to take call and respond to hospital within 30 minutes is required. Actual shift to be determined at the conclusion of orientation and may vary from the shift posted above. Successful completion of Sterile Processing University within six months from hire date is required for this position.
