Sterile Processing Institutional Aide (Full Time) - Compass Group, PLC : Job Details

Sterile Processing Aide: Perform reprocessing activities within Sterile Processing and Equipment Distribution to include decontamination of equipment, preparation of case carts, storage and distribution of medical and surgical supplies and mobile equipment used in the care and treatment of patients. Key Responsibilities: Must wear PPE appropriately and in the appropriate area of the department. Read and understand Manufacturer IFU in relation to the cleaning and maintenance of all small movable equipment. Pick up soiled utility bins from soiled utility rooms and replace with clean bins to designated areas. Pick up all bulk supplies for Central Sterile Department from Receiving Dock and deliver to storage area for proper storage. Cleans, decontaminates, inspects, assembles, sterilizes, and transports equipment, supplies and instruments according to manufacturers IFU and prescribed procedures and techniques.
