Sterile Processing Educator Team Leader - Infirmary Health : Job Details

Minimum Qualifications

5 of the most recent 7 years' experience as a Sterile Processing Technician with at least two years in a leadership capacity.

Licensure, Registration, Certification

One of the following:

• CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician),
• HSPA,
• CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician)

And

One of the following:

• CHL (Certified Healthcare Leader),
• HSPA,
• CSPM (Certified Sterile Processing Manager)

Desired Qualifications

One of the following:

• Bachelor's degree

Any combination of additional, relevant sterile processing specific experience, education, or certification.

Licensure, Registration, Certification

Additional HSPA or CBSPD certifications - Instrument Specialist (CIS or CSIS), Endoscope (CER or CFER), etc.

Provides supervisory support to the Sterile Processing Manager and maintains responsibility for the training and development of new and existing Sterile Processing staff.
