Join our team as a STEM Instructor, Afterschool Program at Amazing Athletes.
Overview: We are seeking passionate individuals to inspire young minds in our afterschool STEM program, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills among students from Kindergarten to 5th grade.
Responsibilities:
Engage students during 80-minute STEM sessions using tools like Scratch, Kodable, LittleBits, Codespark, Wonder Workshop apps, Sphero Dash Robots, and Minecraft.Guide students through STEAM activities emphasizing project-based learning and creative design.Document student progress, communicate with the program director, and foster an inclusive, fun learning environment.Handle logistics such as equipment setup and space organization.Schedule:
- Days: Monday to Friday, 2-5 times per week
- Time: 2:40 PM - 5:40 PM (split into two sessions)
- Location: PS 166 The Richard Rodgers School of The Arts and Technology, 132 W. 89th Street, NY
- Start: Immediate
Compensation:
- Assistant Instructor: $25-35/hr
- Lead Instructor: $30-40/hr

Requirements:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's program
- Minimum 6 months teaching experience with elementary students

- Strong foundation in programming and educational tech tools
