Stationary Engineer - Prisma Health : Job Details

Performs all duties necessary to operate and maintain boilers and other auxiliary equipment necessary for producing steam for heat and sterilization and chillers for space and equipment cooling for the hospital and associated campus buildings. Operates and maintains boilers and chillers at a safe and reliable standard. This includes being proficient at starting, stopping, and switching between boilers as appropriate. Performs and documents periodic checks to ensure operating conditions are within tolerance. Logs must be current and complete for operational data as well as fuel oil consumption. Responsible for performing both unscheduled and preventive maintenance related repairs for all energy facility equipment.
