Description State Systems Administrator Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact? As the Systems Administrator will manage and oversee user access across State-supported and other approved third-party applications critical to agency operations as assigned. This newly formalized IT role offers a transition pathway for internal candidates with hands-on experience in programmatic or administrative systems use to leverage their expertise in an IT setting. This role is responsible for administering identity and access management processes, enforcing security policies, provisioning and deprovisioning user accounts, and monitoring access rights to safeguard sensitive data and support compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements. This role includes training in relevant IT processes to support smooth integration into the team. Minimum qualifications:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree Defined Education: Information Systems, Business Administration, Health/Human Services, Post-secondary coursework in IT, business administration, or a related field preferred Preferences: Experience in Healthcare or System Administration Substitutions: Experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis Years' Experience: 1 year Defined Experience: Internal agency experience in system administration, using, or managing State or approved third-party systems preferred. Experience in systems administration, program support, or related technical responsibilities License/Certifications: None Special Courses: Commitment to completing IT-specific training or certifications as part of the transition.
