Responsibilities:
  • Plan and lead department processes for developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
  • Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
  • Prepare build analyses and cost estimate reports.
  • Lead integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
  • Participate in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
  • Develop complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering needs.
  • Manage tooling from initial design to end of use disposition.
  • Lead investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing issues.
  • Lead teams performing producibility assessments of design concepts.
  • Support enterprise-level benchmarking to incorporate best practices.
  • Develop work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.
  • Develop scheduling templates for use by others.
  • Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to support business and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and document new job practices, techniques, and standards.
    • Position Requirements:
    • Associate's Degree
    • Minimum of 6 years' aerospace manufacturing planning experience and reading engineering drawings
    • Experience in writing and revising work procedures
    • Systems experience: PDM, CAPP, and CMES
