Job Location : Costa Mesa,CA, USA
Under limited guidance, perform smog inspections of motor vehicles. Effectively utilize opportunities to cross sell other Club products and services, increasing member awareness and satisfaction.Job Duties
Perform Smog Inspections for Club members and the motoring public at Smog Centers in accordance with California State Smog service procedures, laws and Club service quality levels.
Inform members through oral and written communications of the condition of their vehicles and smog check results.
Maintain facility, diagnostic and smog equipment in proper working order.
Ensure the facility is in compliance with Bureau of Automotive Repair requirements for equipment, signage and licenses.
Qualifications
High School GED Preferred
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Automotive Repair Industry Required
Must be able to operate a manual transmission
Must have automotive mechanical, technical, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must have basic computer skills with a general knowledge of the Microsoft Office software products, such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
Must be able to travel between Los Angeles and Costa Mesa facilities, once per month
Safe Business Driving Requirements
Valid California driver's license and a great driving record required.
The starting pay range for this position is:
$28.19 - $37.55Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
