Job Overview: Join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing medical and health professional education. As a Standardized Patient Coordinator, you will play a vital role in training and supporting standardized patients (SPs) to accurately portray clinical cases for teaching, assessment, and curriculum evaluation. You will collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and SPs to uphold and advance high-quality educational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Train standardized patients on effective case portrayal and checklist accuracy.
Maintain and enhance both case materials and SP training documents.
Support the development and modification of clinical cases as necessary.
Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all case data.
Prepare clinical exam rooms and ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition.
Manage and update information in the Education Management System (EMS) database.
Conduct quality assurance checks to preserve reliability and validity in SP assessments.
Engage professionally with faculty, students, SPs, and staff to foster a collaborative environment.
Carry out additional duties as assigned.
