Staffing Coordinator - Saint Francis Health System : Job Details

Coordinates inpatient nursing staffing to meet staffing targets. Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None. Work Experience: 0 - 6 months related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Performs necessary actions to ensure staffing schedules for nursing units. Takes call-ins for nursing units and enters illnesses and absences in the appropriate scheduling software promptly. Notifies nursing unit of employees who have called in for upcoming shifts. Tracks staffing adjustments - pulling or sending of staff to nursing units. Schedules individuals who call wanting to work after clinical manager or designee has left for the day. Performs scheduling updates and associated functions as necessary to maintain current period. Collects census for staff for nursing units and enters data into appropriate software.
