Central Supply
Position Summary:
The Central Supply Aide is responsible for providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner, in accordance with established procedures to various departments in the facility.
Responsibilities:
Maintain supply and storage rooms in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.Ensure that all established safety procedures and precautions are followed.Check invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, etc. with incoming merchandise.Maintain total confidentiality of all pertinent patient care information in order to ensure patient rights are protected at all times.As this job description is not intended to be all-inclusive, the employee will be expected to perform other essential functions and duties as assigned.Qualifications:
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care facilities.
- Must have excellent communication skills, especially verbal/oral communication.
- Must be able to work as part of a team, i.e., he/she must be an excellent team player.
- Good interpersonal skills.
Scheduler Responsibilities:
Help in the process of hiring and training both new and existing employees.Develop work schedules and allocate employees to different duties and/or shifts.Prepare and submit reports that have to do with employee operations.Take responsibility for leave requests from employees and general work time-keeping (scheduling).Work with the payroll unit to ensure appropriate employee settlement.Work closely with recruiting agencies to fill any existing vacancies in an appropriate way.May be asked to help fill shifts as necessary.As this job description is not intended to be all-inclusive, the employee will be expected to perform other essential functions and duties as assigned.Qualifications:
- Must have excellent communication skills, especially verbal/oral communication.
- Must be able to work as part of a team, i.e., he/she must be an excellent team player.
- Possession of good organizational and leadership abilities is a prerequisite.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- He/she must prove to be extremely reliable.
- Must have excellent time management abilities.
- LPN Preferred but not required.
