Staffing and Placement Coordinator - Dignity Health : Job Details

The Staffing and Patient Placement Coordinator works in coordination with the RN shift coordinator to coordinate and facilitate a decentralized staffing system for nursing services and ensure that all patients are placed on the appropriate nursing unit to maximize bed utilization. The individual will performs specific clerical duties including but not limited to; duties as float pool technician or administrative analyst technician interfaces and communicates with various inpatient departments physicians their office staff members and other facilities taking accurate patient information for incoming patients. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.
