Raytheon Acceptance Testing Role

This role will support acceptance testing functions on production and development/prototype products within the Advanced Product Center (APC) at the McKinney, TX site.

The effective candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks and testing functions in support of a manufacturing/production environment on 2nd shift. The candidate will work directly with engineering on production and troubleshooting tasks.

Experience working in a classified or proprietary program environment is preferred.

What You Will Do

  • Proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome technical challenges.
  • Fault-isolate problems and assisting in the resolution of issues between the test environment and the devices under test.
  • Observe, analyze, and report test data.
  • Select and set up appropriate test equipment based on test specifications.
  • Interpret test data to choose pass/fail condition and resolve when further analysis is needed.
  • Use hand tools, torque tools and analyzers, and power tools

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, and/or other manufacturing automation databases and tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft excel, MATLAB, programming, drive share mapping, and/or basic computer programs.
  • Experience in performing product tests by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and other related documentation under limited supervision.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Minimum 2 years of testing experience. Education in a STEM background may be substituted for work experience.
  • Experience with Oscilloscopes, Pulse Generators, Programmable Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Multimeters, and other test assets
  • Related experience working in a Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection.
  • Experience in performing product tests by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and other related documentation under limited supervision.
