Staff Researcher (Network Protocols) - Palo Alto Networks : Job Details

We are the App-ID Team in the Content Delivered Security Service (CDSS) organization. We develop the content to power the Palo Alto Networkss next generation firewall. The App-ID team is responsible for decoding network protocols, identifying applications and detecting evasive behavior and threats on enterprise customers networks. The team is responsible for innovating new application identification techniques. As a member of the team, you will work with researchers on implementing projects that apply different methods to identify applications. You will be a key person in transforming ideas into products which are part of the next generation security platform. Your Impact. Research protocols and develop protocol decoders. Research application behavior and write signatures for app identification. Research application behaviors and find solutions for app identification.
