We are looking for a Nurse Preceptor to join our team.

RN - Nurse Preceptor - Hospice - FT - PA East & NJ Territory

A company fleet car is provided for eligible employees.

+ Hospice Case Management Experience Preferred

+ Home Care Home Base EMR Experience Strongly Preferred

- This is a Regional Travel position.

- Territory Includes offices in PA & NJ:

** Blue Bell, Bala Cynwyd, Chadds Ford, Trevose, PA and Clementon, Northfield, Piscataway, NJ.

As a Hospice Nurse Preceptor, You Will:

• Report to the Assistant Vice President of Operations (AVPO)• Deliver direct, hands-on hospice nursing care in patients' homes based on physician orders• Serve as a mentor and role model for new nurses (preceptees), guiding them through orientation and real-time patient visits• Train and coach new hires on clinical processes, electronic documentation, regulatory compliance, technology, and company policies• Facilitate a smooth transition from onboarding to confident, independent field practice• Model compassionate communication and safe, compliant care delivery• Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure best practices are upheld in the field

About You:

Qualifications - What you'll bring:

• Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment• CPR certification required• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical nursing setting• Diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing• Passion for teaching and coaching with strong interpersonal and communication skills• Comfortable providing care and education in a home-based hospice setting• Empathetic, professional, and patient-centered approach to both caregiving and mentorship

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

• Hospice or home health nursing experience• Prior experience as a nurse preceptor, educator, or clinical trainer• Familiarity with hospice regulatory standards and EMR systems
