Staff Nurse (RN / LPN) - Tandym Group : Job Details

A health services network in New York is looking to add a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and/or licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Yonkers.About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities:

The Staff Nurse (LPN / RN) will:

• Interview patients for health history, including history of current complaint, and past and present use of medication utilizing patient identifies
• Maintain patient medical record and chart vital signs, reactions to test, etc.
• Prepare equipment and assist the Physician during treatments and examinations of patients.
• Instruct patients on healthcare issues, as indicated by physician, diagnosis and/or inquiries by patient.
• Assess and triage patients as they present, either by telephone or in person.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and provide appropriate care.
• Attend mandated training and keeps up to date on all nursing procedures including relevant procedures

Qualifications:

• Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and/or licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS/CPR certification
• Infection Control certification
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
