What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and implement optimal IT solutions, including SaaS, in-house applications, and databases.
  • Analyze IT solution architectures required by each department and provide strategic recommendations for optimization.
  • Conduct technical evaluations and proofs-of-concept for third-party software applications, providing expert assessments and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines for collecting, processing, and integrating internal and external data sources.
  • Develop and maintain real-time data visualization and monitoring dashboards to track key performance metrics and system health.
  • Establish and manage databases to ensure the systematic and efficient operation of IT infrastructure.
  • Optimize system performance and proactively track issues related to IT solutions and databases.
  • Maintain and update enterprise technical standards for applications and database management.
  • Oversee and manage the overall status of software applications and related services, implementing best practices for optimal governance.
  • Define and document architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices for IT solutions and database infrastructure.
  • Serve as an IT Solution and Database Architect in company-wide projects, ensuring well-engineered, secure, and integrated solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, IT, and operations, to ensure seamless integration within the enterprise IT ecosystem.
  • Analyze software application resource utilization and implement optimization strategies.
  • Manage software licensing and optimize license utilization.
  • Oversee MIS solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and operational requirements.
  • Administer and optimize virtualization platforms, including VMware.
  • Manage and maintain Jira and Confluence for streamlined project and knowledge management.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with HPC environments (CAE, EDA, LSF, ETX) is a plus.
  • Experience with AI Platform environments is a plus.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related with 5 years of experience or Master's in Electrical, Computer Science or related Science with 3+ years of Industry Experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Solution & Database Architect.
  • Comprehensive technical proficiency in infrastructure systems, including but not limited to DBMS (MS-SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc), Jira/Confluence, Grafana, GitHub, Virtualization/VMware, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex challenges, evaluate potential solutions, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Experience in customer support or quality assurance is a plus.
