Staff Engineer-Transmission Line - Competitive and Special Projects - American Electric Power Company : Job Details

NOTE: This is an onsite position reporting to either New Albany, OH , Roanoke VA, Tulsa OK, or Corpus Christi,TX. This position is responsible for leading the development of transmission line proposals, as well as supporting engineering and design activities for AEPs competitive and special projects portfolio, with a focus on large 765 k. V transmission buildouts. The Engineer will oversee the proposal development for competitive project bid windows across the United States. This will involve coordinating a matrixed team of engineers to create design alternatives and evaluate options to enhance the competitiveness of project bids. Additionally, the Engineer will support project teams in executing any projects awarded to AEP. The role also includes collaborating with Standards engineers to develop new engineering concepts, as well as coordinating with engineers from Joint Venture partners. Job Description.
