Staff Engineer - Technology Expert - Geico - Government Employees Insurance Company : Job Details

Focus on multiple areas and provide leadership to the engineering teams. Collaborate across team members and across the tech organization to solve our toughest problems. Develop and execute technical software development strategy. Lead the high-level and low-level designs of a foundational area of the insurance marketplace particularly around data exchange with internal and external partners -- and be responsible and accountable for the quality, reliability and performance of the solutions. Write and test product or system development code. Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency). Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
