We're hiring a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our team and support a wide variety of municipal projects. From roadways and utility design to parks and public infrastructure, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and grow your skills every step of the way. What You'll Do As a Civil EIT, you'll assist in the planning, design, and delivery of municipal engineering projects while learning from licensed engineers in a collaborative environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Supporting design and analysis for municipal projects (roadways, stormwater, water/wastewater, sanitary sewer, site development, recreation facilities, and more)
- Conducting field visits and participating in client meetings
- Developing reports, technical studies, and permitting documents
- Managing tasks and supporting multiple projects simultaneously
- Preparing project schedules and assisting with estimates
- Using software tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office to complete design tasks
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure quality and compliance with applicable codes and standards

Job Requirements What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
- 1-4 years of relevant engineering experience
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience in water and wastewater design is a plus
- Enthusiasm for learning and growing in a supportive engineering team
