Our client is looking for a Staff Data Scientist to join their team. You will take the lead in developing and fine-tuning their predictive ML models. The role is hybrid on-site 3 days a week and 2 days remote. Their office is in Long Island City, NY. Comp is anywhere between $170-190K base + bonus.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• ML Model Development
• Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform model development and optimization
• Feature Engineering
• Model Evaluation
• Deployment and Integration: Deploy models and integrate them into our products through APIs
• Research and Innovation

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a track record of developing and deploying predictive ML models
• Expertise in machine learning techniques, classification, clustering, and deep learning
• Proficiency in data manipulation, feature engineering, and model evaluation
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
