Staff Battery Cell Engineer - Rivian : Job Details

Own cell development from cell design concept to mass production Develop cell technical roadmap and cell strategy for current and future product Develop strategic relationship with vendors Work with Rivian purchasing to source cells Work with cross functional teams to decompose requirements from vehicle to cell requirements/specifications. Work with material engineers and mechanical designers to design cell that meets safety, performance (fast charge, durability...) and cost Work with Vendor to develop cell and cell manufacturing process Travel to vendors for workshop, line bring up, PPAP, line audits..
