Summary

UltraSense Systems is seeking an experienced Sr. Staff ASIC Product Engineer to lead our existing mixed-signal ASIC product line, serve as the go-to expert within the team, and support the system and software teams in introducing the ASIC to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the existing ASIC Product Line:

-- Have a deep understanding about every aspect of the current ASIC product line to effectively support the FW/SW team in resolving issues and optimizing ASIC usage.

-- Represent the PE team in meetings with the cross-functional Engineering and Operations teams

ASIC Development and Characterization :

-- Lead ASIC development activities including validation, failure root cause analysis, and test development. Manage schedule and material for different test and product chips.

--Besides, characterize new product architecture/platform. Develop plans and perform characterization and testing per customer specific requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

·We're seeking candidates with a strong background in analog circuits, along with knowledge of digital design, systems, and firmware.

·MS or PhD background on EE, circuit design major.

·5-10+ years of experience in the industry

·Experience with Analog circuit bringup or characterization activities, such as analog front-end, amplifier, filter, oscillator, LDO, PLL, ADC, band-gap reference, etc…

·Experience with Mixed-Signal Integration and verification

·Understanding on how microcontrollers work and how does the digital circuit block control analog blocks.

·Understanding on digital signal processing technique such as IIR/FIR filter, median filter, etc…

·Hands-on experience with post-silicon testing and validation with Python or C.

Desired Skills and Experience:

·Experience of writing C-code for MCU firmware

·Experience of writing Verilog code for digital RTL block
