Staff Accountant #7804 - St. Clair Hospital : Job Details

Prepares monthly journal entries, reconciles cash, maintains fixed assets for the Hospital and affiliates. Prepares information required by external auditors, assists in the preparation of appropriate tax returns for the hospital and affiliates, and updates for fixed asset inventory. Minimum Qualifications Associate s degree in accounting. One year of experience in an accounting environment. General ledger experience. Extensive working knowledge of computerized general ledger software packages and spreadsheet and word processing capabilities. Working knowledge of current accounting pronouncements, rules and regulations. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor s degree in accounting.
