Staff Accountant - Powdr Corporation : Job Details

Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Assist in the monthly and annual close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify variances and provide recommendations. Answer accounting and financial questions through research and interpreting data. Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures. Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation for auditors as required. Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. Enhance job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
