· Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by auditing and analyzing material costs, standard costs, fixed assets, inventories, and the general ledger. May establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures. May direct and coordinate the activities of clerical workers performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Review financial documents for accuracy and authenticity.

· Analyzes, classifies, and records financial transactions.

· May prepare reports regarding profits and losses, inventories, receipts and disbursements, balance sheet,s and other reports.

· May participate in account analysis and management reports.

· Performs month-end reconciliation of bank statements, vendor statements, and general ledger accounts, and performs appropriate accruals.

· Provides monthly variance reports of production and performs appropriate accruals.

· Maintains fixed asset postings, calculates and posts depreciation to the general ledger, and for tax purposes.

· Prepares reports for audits and works with the auditors in the preparation of the Corporate taxes. Audits contracts, orders, and vouchers and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.

· Establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.

· Various other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting or Business
• 1-3 years of experience
• Excel intermediate level (pivot table, v-lookup, and basic formulas)
