Staff Accountant I - The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank : Job Details

The Staff Accountant supports the accounting and financial reporting functions of the multi-bank holding company and its subsidiary banks. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with consolidated reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of GAAP, and the ability to work in a regulated financial services environment. Performs a variety of specialized and/or technical accounting functions in conformance with generally accepted accounting procedures (GAAP) and established policies & procedures for banks, subsidiaries, and Charitable Foundations. Acts as a backup to other positions in the department as necessary.
