Staff Accountant - Accounting - Rady Children's Hospital San Diego : Job Details

The Staff Accountant is responsible for performing accounting and financial reporting functions, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Collects information necessary to prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations. Monitors general ledger account activity and reconciles general ledger accounts. Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in accounting, finance or business with 10 years of accounting experience acceptable in lieu of Bachelor's Degree. Three years of experience. Demonstrated ability to perform variance analysis. Experience and proficiency with accounting systems.
