One of our clients in NYC is seeking an IT Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the IT department. This role involves managing IT projects, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, and providing technical support to staff. The IT Coordinator will work closely with the IT Manager to implement technology solutions that enhance business operations and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support:Provide technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure prompt resolution of IT-related problems.
• System Maintenance:Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of IT systems, including servers, networks, and software applications.
• Vendor Management:Liaise with external vendors and service providers to procure IT equipment and services, ensuring cost-effective solutions and timely delivery.
• Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT processes, systems, and procedures.
• Reporting:Generate regular reports on IT activities, system performance, and project progress for management review.

Qualifications:

• Education:Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT coordination or a similar role.
• Technical Skills:Proficiency in IT systems, networks, and software applications. Any AS400 or ERP system experience is a plus.
• Project Management:Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication: verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
• Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues efficiently.
• Team Player:Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners. Strong interpersonal skills.
