The SSBN Program Support Analyst will be on a dynamic team, supporting Team Submarine COLUMBIA Program Office. This position is located at our site in Kings Bay, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Leverage your U.S. Submarine experience to research, analyze, and provide informed recommendations to government customers on refit cycles, preventative and corrective maintenance schedules, and deployment planning.
- Support the planning, tracking, and execution of refit periods, maintenance availability milestones, and operational readiness reviews.
- Offer guidance and subject matter expertise to Trident Refit Facility leadership as required.
- Regularly interface with senior Navy leadership, including SUBGRU-10, Squadrons 16 and 20, Trident Training Facility, and Strategic Systems Programs.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate formal meetings, briefings, and reviewsmanaging agendas, capturing meeting minutes, and tracking action items to completion.
- Assist in the preparation and editing of technical reports, schedules, and briefings to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Coordinate on-site and off-site travel logistics, including transportation, lodging, and itineraries, for both government and contractor personnel.
Qualifications
- An active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- A bachelors degree in a technical or related discipline.
- 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing or production support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Flexibility in adapting to changing job requirements and schedules.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%.
- Experience with Navy acquisition processes and Submarine Programs.
- Familiarity with customer-facing roles or direct end-item customer interaction.
- Recent experience working with Team Submarine is highly desirable.
