Infosys is seeking a SRE Engineer. The position will primarily be responsible for leading the maintenance and support on custom IT applications. The selected candidate should have strong technical knowledge, analytical abilities, good communication skills, and previous support experience in managing support and management projects. The candidate should also have experience leading teams and a good understanding of Incident and Problem management.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Overland Park, Kansas or Bellevue, WA, or be willing to relocate. This position may require relocation and/or travel to project locations.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Equivalent experience (three years of progressive experience in the specialty) may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• SRE mindset in production support: proactive issue identification using observability tools.
• Skilled in monitoring & observability tools to track system performance.
• Experience as incident commander: diagnosing complex issues and leading incident calls with technical teams, SMEs, and Tier 2 SREs.
• Experience with Splunk (including APM and O11y), AppDynamics.
• Experience with databases, networks, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes.
• Experience with APM, NMON, Wireshark for usage and analysis.

The estimated annual compensation for Bellevue, WA is between $73,222 and $113,503. Benefits include health insurance, disability coverage, 401(k), paid holidays, and more.

The role involves extensive travel, sitting, and working at a computer for prolonged periods. Effective communication via phone, email, or face-to-face is required.
