AWS Neuron is looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager to define and drive product strategy for the AWS Neuron Compiler. You will be part of the AWS Neuron Product Management team, driving innovation in machine learning acceleration software. AWS Neuron is the software stack for Trainium and Inferentia, the AWS Machine Learning chips, delivering best-in-class ML performance in the cloud. You will lead Compiler requirements working backward from customer needs, drive compiler features definition at the intersection of ML Frameworks and hardware acceleration, and drive developer experience improvements, enabling customers to successfully develop and optimize ML workloads on AWS Neuron through deep understanding of compiler systems, ML frameworks, and hardware acceleration.
The ideal candidate will have solid understanding of compiler technologies, computer architecture, and ML systems. They should be able to assess technical implications of compiler architecture decisions, understand customer needs, and drive developer experience strategy. Experience with ML frameworks, model architectures, and distributed computing is highly valuable.

Our products are being used at scale with external customers like Anthropic and Databricks as well as internal customers like Alexa, Amazon Bedrocks, Amazon Robotics, Amazon Ads, Amazon Rekognition and many more.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent- 10+ years of industry experience with at least 5+ years in Technical product management and 3+ years of software development- Solid knowledge in compiler technologies and optimization techniques- Solid knowledge in computer architecture fundamentals and operating systems concepts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with CUDA, Triton, and/or Pallas kernel technologies- Track record of driving developer libraries- Experience with Machine Learning accelerators- Experience with concepts such as performance optimization, profiling and tooling- Experience with Deep Learning model training or inference.- Experience with distributed computing and parallel processing- Hands on experience with major ML framework: JAX or PyTorch- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud infrastructure engineering- Track record of driving open standards and ecosystem integration
