DSJ Global is currently partnering with an industry leading manufacturer of aviation instrumentation and equipment. This client is looking for a dynamic Senior Systems Engineer to join their team and assist on hardware development and testing. If you are a talented systems engineer apply below.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Business Unit Manager and act as the Project Engineer for avionics systems, managing software and hardware requirements from development to qualification testing.
• Lead the design, development, and integration of air data systems.
• Perform dynamic response modeling for avionics devices and air data sensors.
• Support hardware/software design, verification, validation, and sustain engineering for existing products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with at least seven years of aerospace product development experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in new business pursuits and proposals.
• Proficiency in MIL-STD-810, 461, DO Verification and Validation, electronic hardware/firmware design, and modern configuration management.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team briefings.

Work Environment:

This role involves sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and moving for extended periods. Occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs may be required. The position is within a manufacturing setting and requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency as per ITAR regulations.
