Sr. System Security Engineer - University Hospital New Jersey : Job Details

What You'll Do Implements, maintain, and continuous improvement security measures for server systems, with a primary focus on Active directory, client-server applications, and virtualized environments. Perform regular security patching, system hardening, and vulnerability management, including vulnerability scanning, remediation, and reporting. Work closely with the Security team to assess risks, address vulnerabilities, and maintain compliance with security standard (e.g., STIGs, CIS benchmarks). Coordinate and communicate with Microsoft for Azure Cloud and Microsoft 365 Environment with the purview of enforcing & coordinate security with VMware and other permissions related structures. Configure and manage Microsoft Group Policies, Microsoft Intune, and other technologies to enforce and standardize across the network. Participates in the Change Management Board (CAB) to provide insight of limitations or concerns about a change.
