Sales Administration/Operations is responsible for supporting the sales organization and driving operational excellence in order to achieve the strategic and sales objectives established by the sales organization. Responsibilities include maintaining up to date credentials for the entire network of participating health plans, cultivating and maintaining ongoing payer relationships and Medicaid enrollments, adhering to cyclical renewal, retrieval, and updates per profile, working closely with third-party vendors to identify data needs and execute updates when required, reporting results and outcomes of network status to management at regular intervals, responding to third-party/managed care requests in a timely manner, providing existing customers and third-party vendors with the best possible service and recommendations in relation to credentialing inquiries, service requests, improvements to internal and external processes, and other areas of opportunity, providing product service information to customers and identifying opportunities to maintain customer relationships so they can remain in good standing, complying with laws and regulations as they pertain to services provided by the company, promptly reporting any information regarding a known or suspected violation of any applicable laws, regulations, standards or company policy, representing the culture and values of the company to other groups, agencies and the general public, and ensuring accuracy of public information materials, and attending all required Compliance, HIPAA and other scheduled training.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in managed care preferred, 2-4 years experience in health care preferred, pharmacy technician experience a plus, not required, familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel VLOOKUPS), strong written and verbal communication skills, and organized with attention to detail.
What is expected of you and others at this level includes applying working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks, working on projects of moderate scope and complexity, identifying possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and taking actions to resolve, applying judgment within defined parameters, receiving general guidance may receive more detailed instruction on new projects, work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy, working with outside vendors to ensure compliance and network integrity is met, and competency in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Excel, Word), Salesforce and Adobe applications.
Anticipated salary range: $56,200 - $72,360.
