Position Overview: As a Senior Robotics Engineer with our client, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing robotic solutions for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics engineering, with specific expertise in automotive or aerospace applications. Proficiency in PLC programming and experience with ABB or Mitsubishi robotics systems is essential. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robotic solutions for construction projects, with a focus on automotive or aerospace applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robotics systems into construction processes.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC systems to ensure seamless communication between robotic components and other equipment.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical expertise in the selection of robotic hardware and software.
  • Optimize robotic processes for efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to stay abreast of the latest advancements in robotics technology.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior robotics engineers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 plus years of experience in robotics engineering, with a focus on automotive or aerospace applications.
  • Cut, weld and bevel 4-12 carbon piping.
  • Automation Pipe Spool experience
  • Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with ABB or Mitsubishi robotics systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing robotics solutions in industrial settings.
