Sr. QA - Data and Business Intelligence (USA/Remote) - Magellan Health : Job Details

This position is responsible for developing comprehensive test plans for medium to complex systems to ensure a smooth transition from development to production. The role includes mentoring lower-level staff, testing, reviewing, and learning the functionality of software applications developed in-house or purchased from third-party vendors. The individual will develop and maintain documented standards for software quality acceptance.

• Experience in test strategy creation, implementation, and familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Xray) and automation tools.
• Experience with data reconciliation, data quality, and reasonableness testing within an analytics environment.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and scripting for backend database testing.
• Experience working in an agile environment and in healthcare domains.
• Understanding of business applications and effective communication with technical and non-technical staff.
• Minimum of 6+ years' experience as a QA Analyst.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science or related field.

Salary Range: $77,785 - $124,455

This reflects the anticipated base salary range; actual pay may vary based on location, skills, experience, and other factors. The position may also include incentives and benefits.
