Position: Senior Psychologist, Ph.D. or Psy.D.
Join NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, a leading institution dedicated to musculoskeletal health. We are seeking a Senior Psychologist to provide clinical services, supervise staff, and contribute to program development and research. The role involves assessment, intervention, supervision, documentation, and participation in educational and research activities.
Provide neuropsychological and psychological assessments and interventions.Maintain proficiency in evaluating and treating relevant patient populations.Serve as a resource for the interdisciplinary team and collaborate on patient care.Ensure accurate documentation and billing for services.Monitor service delivery and serve as a role model for staff and trainees.Ensure compliance with regulations and standards in all clinical activities.Assist in developing educational programs and staying updated with current knowledge.Plan and evaluate patient-related initiatives and outpatient programs.Supervise assessments and interventions conducted by staff and trainees.Contribute to staff orientation and training.Provide data and research support as needed.Participate in research planning, development, and implementation.Meet performance and productivity standards.Demonstrate advanced evaluation and intervention skills.Engage in program development, strategic planning, and professional service.Contribute specialty expertise to enhance clinical services.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D).
- Current license as a Psychologist in New York State.
- Completion of APA-accredited internship and relevant postdoctoral fellowship.
- Prior experience in rehabilitation psychology, inpatient/outpatient settings.
- Meet NYULH credentialing criteria for psychology privileges.
- At least two years at the Staff Psychologist level or equivalent.
- Skills in supervision, administration, and program development.
Required Licenses:
Psychologist
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisory, administrative, or program development experience.
- Membership in professional organizations (e.g., APA, ACRM).
- Eligibility for board certification through the American Board of Professional Psychology.
