Job Overview

Contributes to T-Mobile success by delivering and implementing large or complex new systems, projects, processes, and/or programs that improve profitability, reduce costs, streamline operations, or enhance service to the business and customers. Collaborates effectively with cross-functional business and technology development teams to solve problems and implement new solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assembles key players on the project team and nurtures internal working relationships across the enterprise to foster cross-functional teamwork.
  • Delegates project responsibilities, directs, motivates, and manages project work and resources.
  • Ensures timely activity, integration, and productivity of technical support, and administers efficient use of resources to meet requirements.
  • Questions ambiguous responsibilities, manages conflicts, and escalates unresolved issues.
  • Supports technical solutions, ensuring all groups' responsibilities are included.
  • Facilitates creation of the project charter and reviews technical documentation for completeness and distribution.
  • Develops and updates project schedules, manages deviations, and monitors progress.
  • Identifies risks, assesses, and mitigates them using proven project management techniques.
  • Attends and hosts meetings, keeps the project team informed, and performs ongoing project assessments.
  • Closes project documentation after completion, archives records, and provides lessons learned.
Education and Work Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or equivalent experience and education.
  • 4-7 years of industry experience as a program or product manager within a technology environment.
  • Experience working on projects in the wireless industry is preferred.
