Under broad supervision, this position performs highly responsible work coordinating functions of the Registrar's Office. Considerable independent judgment is exercised applying and adapting departmental guidelines, policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality, and applying thorough knowledge of the operations and policies of the department and university related to managing processes within the Scheduling, Registration, and Records needs of the office. Maintain confidentiality and work directly with students, administrative support units, academic departments and deans offices to troubleshoot complex scheduling, registration, and student record issues. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with university policies and procedures.
This position requires administrative, organizational, communication and data entry skills. Flexibility and demonstrated competence to assess priorities and manage a wide variety of activities in a time-sensitive environment is crucial. This position staffs the front office area and is responsible for walk-ins.
