We're Currently Looking For An Excited And Talented Sr Program Manager III To Help Us Push Our Organization Forward By Helping Us In The Following Ways

  • The Program Manager, in accordance with BCS and PMI standards, will serve as the business leader to accomplish project objectives and manage the project from business award to successful new product launch, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • This position is responsible for delivering financial commitments by overseeing issues related to quality and cost, controlling the budget, tracking financial status, and adhering to the program schedule with set customer milestones.
  • The PM & NPLM will manage project issues within BCS by creating awareness and driving resolution within the involved project teams, including Purchasing, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing. The role involves coordinating and managing interfaces with customers and suppliers to clarify requirements and deliverables, including new component purchasing and supplier-requested changes.
  • They will also be responsible for product performance after launch to meet standards for productivity, quality, warranty, purchasing, profit, and other metrics, and will pursue continuous improvement in these areas.
  • The PM & NPLM will ensure the project is introduced according to the BCS Program Management System and execute APQP safe launch plans in line with central purchasing.
  • Define and execute commodity strategies aligned with business needs and product line requirements.
  • Nominate global strategic suppliers for new business according to purchasing policies.
  • Additional responsibilities include realizing cost savings, negotiating contractual agreements, driving VA/VE activities for cost reductions and quality improvements, analyzing market and supplier benchmarks, monitoring market dynamics and technology developments, developing strategic suppliers, and collaborating with commodity teams to identify synergies.
  • The PM & NPLM will support the New Product Launch (NPL) process from both Program Management and Purchasing perspectives, supporting cross-functional teams at BCS.

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification preferred; Project Management certification preferred.
  • Previous purchasing experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn and quickly adapt is essential.
  • 5+ years managing projects involving Electrical and Electromechanical products.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams from project inception to completion.
  • Proven leadership influencing teams without direct reporting lines.
  • Extensive sourcing/procurement management experience, preferably in automotive.
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Project, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with financial analysis related to manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of automotive manufacturing, design, development, and quality planning tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
