Sr. Production Coordinator Men's & Womens Sweaters
Coordinate information for development of new styles from concept to production via interaction with internal and external cross functional partners.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with AEO cross functional team members to ensure approval deadlines are met.
- Ensure T&A calendar and seasonal milestones are being met and elevate to supervisor as needed, encompassing: PLM deadline, merchant call dates, merchant PO issuance, pattern and art send dates, sample deliveries.
- Procure, review and assess new cost quotes, analyze history and elevate costing challenges to supervisor for costing options/negotiations.
- Communicate daily with overseas vendors regarding style development, production and delivery information.
- Review outstanding issues on Production Status, take action accordingly and elevate to Supervisor as needed.
- Work with Buyers/Planners on garment cost, buys, production planning, liabilities and delivery.
- Lead touch base meetings with the following teams: Color, Tech, QA, Testing, Top review, Cross Functional Team Touch Base.
- Help to develop and improve tracking and record keeping systems.
- Perform other duties as required inclusive of ownership of corporate special orders projects.
- Manage external partners' relationships by communicating and partnering with them on: Seasonal allocation strategy; production, product or costing challenges, initiatives or issues; factory loading/capacity planning.
- Manage internal partners' relationships by communicating and partnering with them on: seasonal IMU goals, volume, air budget and trigger strategy; seasonal allocation strategy and booking calendar; costing and TNA challenges as well as production or product issues.
- Own seasonal costing activities encompassing: Securing and communicating IMU goals to team; reviewing and analyzing costs identifying opportunities for improvement and taking action based on IMU results; elevating costing issues to supervisor and executing to direction; communicating IMU results to cross functional partners; confirming costing at style level.
- Review escalated PSR issues and determine action steps which may include reaching out to Vendor/Agent to work on solutions and/or escalating to supervisor.
- PLM release, package send out and tracking.
- Able to work in a hybrid environment, meaning that some work may be performed remotely but certain essential functions must be performed in-person/in-office based on the needs of the business.
- In person/in-office collaboration is required, the frequency of such in-person/in-office collaboration (e.g., portion of week, entire week) is dictated by business needs. Such collaboration includes work centralized around product development, milestone meetings, fittings, and approvals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or equivalent.
- 4-6 years related experience in Apparel; Sweaters experience required.
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and project management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
- Ability to act as liaison between many departments; excellent communication and analytic skills.
- Must be detail oriented, computer literate and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment - working in office as well as remote work from home.

- Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
