This role is based in Buffalo, NY, and involves managing projects related to cheese, powder products, and RSPC processes, from design to implementation, supporting plant operations. Travel up to 50% may be required to various plant locations across the US and internationally.

• Develop project drawings, scopes, budgets, and timelines.
• Source vendors, negotiate, and acquire quotes for investments and budget needs.
• Manage and track project costs within budget.
• Coordinate project review meetings and report outcomes.
• Work cross-functionally to meet stakeholder needs, including Quality, Food Safety, Operations, and Maintenance.
• Attend Factory Acceptance Tests as needed.
• Develop and manage the annual capital budget.
• Travel as required by project needs.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing capital expenditure projects, preferably in the food industry, with dairy process experience preferred.
• Experience supporting USDA or FDA regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel, macros, pivot tables, AutoCAD (equipment & P&ID drawings).

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to audit, investigate, and improve manufacturing machinery.
• Effective communication skills.
• Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently and travel nationally and internationally.

Salary range: $115,000 - $140,000 annually.
