Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is looking for a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer within its Subsystem and Software Sustainment (S&SS) organization in Warner Robins, GA. This role is part of our Hardware Engineering Team supporting the CMBRE program. The position requires on-site work daily.

Responsibilities
  • Support the CMBRE Program, including application of military interfaces and standards for munition testing and reprogramming.
  • Address sustainability issues such as DMSMS for CMBRE.
  • Review and recommend changes to engineering drawings.
  • Collaborate with Program Management, external suppliers, and government customers, requiring excellent communication skills.
Basic Qualifications
  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a B.S. degree; 6 years with a Master's; 4 years with a PhD.
  • Familiarity with automated test systems, software loading tools, and diagnostic platforms.
  • Experience in circuit design and development.
  • Proficiency with lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with munitions test and reprogramming equipment, especially CMBRE systems.
  • PCB design experience.
  • Knowledge of military communication protocols and standards.
Additional Information

Salary Range: $118,600 - $178,000. Compensation depends on experience, education, and market conditions. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plans, paid holidays, and PTO. The application period is approximately 20 days from posting, subject to change.
