DescriptionSenior Plant Commissioning Engineer Location: Massachusetts Contract: 6 - 12 MonthsOur client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and plant engineering sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Plant Commissioning Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for professionals with 5-10 years of experience in plant commissioning and equipment validation, looking to contribute to high-impact projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Create non-critical commissioning protocols for equipment and utilities associated with various project executions, ensuring standards and specifications are met.
- Oversee and verify vendor start-ups to confirm proper installation and functionality of equipment.
- Lead the execution of non-critical commissioning protocols, ensuring all processes are aligned with project goals and operational standards.
- Review and validate Equipment Turnover Package (ETOP) documentation for all equipment and utilities within the project's scope.
- Manage and update the punch list log using the Procore system, ensuring that all issues are addressed and resolved promptly.
- Provide clear, detailed weekly commissioning status reports to project leadership, outlining progress, challenges, and necessary corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in plant commissioning and equipment validation.
- Expertise in developing and executing commissioning protocols.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on organization and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proficiency in using project management tools, including Procore.
