Sr. Payments Operations Analyst (Starlink) - Rocket Lab : Job Details

Position Overview:

Starlink, our revolutionary satellite constellation, aims to deliver low-latency broadband internet to over 5 million users worldwide. We design, build, test, and operate all parts of the system—thousands of satellites, consumer receivers, and supporting software. We are seeking top-tier engineers and analysts to accelerate our growth globally.

Role Summary:

As a Sr. Payments Operations Analyst within the Payments team, you will ensure the seamless operation of our payment platform. Your responsibilities include maintaining platform health, optimizing processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve payment operations. You will proactively identify and resolve issues and lead troubleshooting efforts for payment-related challenges.

Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years in operations within payments, fraud, risk, or e-commerce sectors.
• 3+ years of SQL experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years in a payments role at a high-growth tech startup or established company.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis and scripting.
• Ability to influence cross-functional partners.
• Experience developing data-driven payment strategies.
• Ability to document and implement scalable processes.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for manipulating large datasets and deriving insights.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed.
• This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, requiring onsite presence; remote work is not available.
• Willingness to travel as needed to client sites and other SpaceX locations.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $120,000 - $155,000/year, with additional incentives, stock options, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including health coverage, 401(k), paid leave, and more.
