Sr. Packaging Engineer - Harba Solutions : Job Details

Job Requirements

• Apply advanced packaging design principles to create solutions for medical device products, ensuring compliance with industry, company, and customer standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to specify and procure packaging materials.
• Coordinate and oversee distribution simulation and packaging performance testing.
• Develop and maintain internal packaging standards and protocols.
• Lead multiple packaging projects, managing tight timelines and delivering critical outcomes.
• Ensure packaging designs and equipment comply with organizational quality systems.
• Conduct or oversee verification and validation testing for packaging designs and manufacturing processes.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with quality system requirements.
• Identify and resolve issues with existing packaging, implementing effective corrective actions.
• Collaborate professionally and effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Packaging Science or a related field; OR
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Science, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; OR
• Equivalent professional experience demonstrating comparable expertise.
• Proven expertise in medical packaging materials, including Tyvek, PE/PET films, and PETG trays.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental and regulatory standards for medical packaging, such as ASTM F1886, F88, F2096, D4169, and ISO 11607.
